Bhimashankar is an Semi-Evergreen and Evergreen mixed forest of the Western Ghats. Located about 140Km from Pune towards north, it holds a fantastic biodiversity. It is reserved as Sanctuary for State animal of Maharashtra "SHEKRU" or "Giant Squirrel"
Walk in these forest in the monsoon is full of fun and education. We get to see Shekru as well as wide variety of butterflies, Flowers, Plants, Frogs etc. We get to enjoy the rainforest as well as streams and waterfalls.
