Purandar Fort-Flowers spl Visit

This fort is famous in history. Treaty between Marathas and Mughals (lead by Dilerkhan and Mirza Jaisingh) took place at the base of Purandar. Purandar is situated so peculiarly that on one side it has high rainfall zone and on another side it has low rainfall zone. This has resulted into different micro climates and ultimately into wide Floral and Faunal Diversity.

| Itinerary |
> Departure from Pune at 7am
> Reach Saswad by 9am and take another Bus to Narayanpur
> Reach Narayanpur by 9.30, have breakfast and start walking towards fort by 10.30am
> Climb fort and have lunch at Kedareshwar temple
> Sightseeing on fort
> Start descending
> Tea at Narayanpur
> Reach Saswad PMT stand
> Reach Swargate by 8 pm

| What to bring |
1. Luggage packed in big good trekking sack, all luggage.
2. Complete spare set of clothes & socks (you can keep it in bus)
3. Water bottle (atleast 1.5 ltr) compulsory
4. Electral/ Glucon-d energizers and personal medication
5. A sweater/warmwear/rainwear (as per the weather on the trek day)
6. Good trekking shoes (sandles, chappals, floaters not permitted)
