Western Ghats as it is one of the most important biodiversity hotspots in the world. It holds amazing diversity of Flora and Fauna. But even among the entire stretch there are certain spots where you find amazing concentraion of flora. Panchgani counts as one of them. There are many such flowers which are endemic to Panchgani and surroundings and hence it is very important location for nature lovers.
Panchgani is actually a hill station and is situated practically on a flat top moutain with rocky surface with very less soil cover. This area comes under very high rainfall zone. This combination has created amazing variety in "Niches" and so amazing diversity in the flora that could be found on Panchgani. In Panchgani you can see evergreen forest as well as thorny bushes at the same time and all the diversity within these two extremes.

> Departure from Pune by 6.20am > Small breakfast stop at Shirval and Reach directly to Panchgani > Morning flower trail > Lunch around 2pm > post lunch flower trail > start return journey by 6pm > Back to Pune by 9.30pm |
