| Introduction |
Friends there are many routes to Harishchandragad but the Toughest is by Makad Nal or Nalicha route. The descend will also be done from a new route (Sadhale ghat route)which is very pleasant and beautiful.
Exploring new routes for our participants has been the aim of Trekdi team.So a pilot trek was carried out.
The trek route is through a waterfall notch. Due to the rock erosion during entire route, there is a risk of falling stones from the top, The route has no proper shelter and hence sun rays are always vertical and chances of Dehydration are considerable. There are also rock patches at intervals.
We have designed the Trek considering highest safety factors.Equipment used for the trek will be UIAA approved (Europian standard) The best outdoor experts from Pune will be accompanying the event to guide you successfully through Makad Nal

Day 1 : Friday (8 Jan 10):
Reporting time 9:00 p.m.
Start at 9:30 p.m
Reach belpada till 2:30 a.m.
Day 2 : Saturday(9 Jan 10)
Have rest till 5 :00 a.m
Start trek till 6:30. with breakfast and packed lunch distributed.
Reach Kokan kada top by 5:30 p.m.
Have tea and rest in temple.
Have dinner and go to bed.
Day 3 Sunday (10 Jan 10)
Wake up at 6:00 a.m.Have tea and breakfast.
Sight seeing of the fort.
Start descend by 7 :00 a.m
Descend will be done through Sadhale ghat route(belpada)
Reach base by 2:00 p.m.
Have lunch. At the base village.
Start to pune by 4:00 p.m
Reach pune by 8 :30 p.m.

| What to Bring |
Since the trek is hectic minimum lugguage to be carried in small sacks.
1. Min 2 ltrs. Water per person compulsory.
2. Sleeping gear (either sleeping bag or carry mat and shawl)
3. Torch with extra pair of cell
4. Personal Medicines, Electral and Glucon D
5. Good trekking Shoes (compulsary)
