Fergusson College main gate @ 6:00 a.m. Sharp |
| Schedule |
>Leave Pune at 7 am by private bus
>Pune- narayangaon-alephata approx 2.30 Hrs,
>Tea and breakfast at Alephata
>Then take reach to Khireshwar via Otur approx 1.5 hrs
>Khireshwar at approx 1pm,
>Have lunch in Khireshwar and start climbing the fort around 3pm.
>It will take approx 4.30 hrs to reach temple on fort.
>Then relaxing, setting campsite and then cooking and dinner, TP session.
>Next morning getting up early and freshing up till 7.30am, take a tea then go for kokan kada,
>Back to caves and have brunch and then for Taramati peak
>Visit temple and shivling in cave and then start descending the fort around 12noon,
>another 4 hrs walk back to Khireshwar and then have lunch in Khireshwar,
>Start return journey from khireshwar around 6pm and back to pune by 10p |

| What to Bring |
1. Luggage packed in big good trekking sack, all luggage wrapped in plastic bags to avoid getting wet (compulsory)
2. Complete spare set of clothes & socks
3. Water bottle (atleast 1.5 ltr) compulsory
4. Electral/ Glucon-d energizers and personal medication
5. A sweater/warmwear
6. Good trekking shoes (sandles, chappals, floaters not permitted)
7. A sleeping bag / Thermocol mat and shawl / normal satranji and shawl
8. Plate, spoon, mug (Compulsory)
9. Torch with Extra pair of Batteries
10. Camera, Binocular (Optional) |
