Introduction  Vasota or Wyaghragad Trek is one of the best treks in Sahyadri. It is surrounded and dense jungle and isolated by the backwaters of Koyna Dam and hence it is paradise for wildlife lovers. Experience of spending night on the banks of Koyna dam is simply unforgettable.

Schedule of Trek
Meeting Time and Place  Fergusson college main gate at 9:00 p.m. Sharp.
Schedule  Start from Fergusson college main gate by 10:00p.m.
Journey throught he night.

Day 2 :

Early morning wake up call.
Have Tea and breakfast and start Boat Journey towards Vasota.
Reach the base and start the Trek.
Lunch on top of the fort.
Sightseeing on the fort and start descending.
Reach Bamnoli and depart to Pune after having tea.
Back to Pune by 9:00 p.m.
 
What to Bring 1. Luggage packed in big good trekking sack, all luggage wrapped in plastic bags to avoid getting wet (compulsory)
2. Complete spare set of clothes & socks
3. Water bottle (atleast 1.5 ltr) compulsory
4. Electral/ Glucon-d energizers and personal medication
5. A sweater/warmwear
6. Good trekking shoes (sandles, chappals, floaters not permitted)
7. A sleeping bag / Thermocol mat and shawl / normal satranji and shawl
8. Plate, spoon, mug (Compulsory)
9. Torch with Extra pair of Batteries
10. Camera, Binocular (Optional)
